Reporting a bug or requesting a feature
To help us resolve issues quickly, please include:
- Your device and OS version (e.g. iPhone 15, iOS 18).
- What you were doing when the problem happened.
- What you expected vs. what actually happened.
- The MUD you were connected to, if relevant.
- A screenshot or screen recording, if you have one.
Common questions
How do I connect to a MUD?
On the Connections screen, tap the add button, enter the server's host and port, and connect. MudMonster works with standard telnet-based MUD servers.
Do I need an account?
No. You can connect and play as a guest. Signing in unlocks cross-device cloud sync for your connections, settings, and characters.
Is MudMonster free?
Yes — MudMonster is free to download and use.
Who runs the MUDs I connect to?
MUD servers are independently operated by their own communities. MudMonster is a client for connecting to them — we don't host the game content or moderate those servers.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to your profile and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything synced to it. You can also email us at hello@mudmonster.site to request deletion.
